DR Congo
The Pallottines entered the DR Congo (then Zaire) in 1981, extending their Rwandan mission into the Diocese of Goma. They later expanded into the Archdiocese of Bukavu, establishing a presence in both North Kivu and South Kivu. Their ministry integrates parish work, youth outreach, formation and social development within areas marked by significant instability.
Juridically, it’s part of the Society’s Holy Family Province (Rwanda/DR Congo).
