United States of America

1912

The Pallottine presence in the United States developed in two distinct trajectories. The Mother of God Province was formed in 1912, rooted in the early arrival of German Pallottine missionaries who settled in the American Midwest. Their work focused on parish ministry, missionary promotion, and the establishment of formation programs.

A second line of development emerged on the East Coast through the Italian Pallottines, who had arrived to serve Italian immigrants in New York and New Jersey. Their delegation evolved into the Immaculate Conception Province, formally established in March 1953. Today, the Pallottines maintain ministries in education, pastoral care, youth outreach, and missionary cooperation across various dioceses in the United States.
