We Are A Mission is a global missionary network for the promotion of integral human development, to make real the radical Gospel of Christ through the apostolic dynamism of St. Vincent Pallotti. With his intercession, we aim to live his missionary dream “with zeal, spread it with courage, & help it with every means at our disposal!”
Founding
We Are A Mission was launched on the 200th priestly ordination anniversary of St. Vincent Pallotti - May 16th 2018 - through the impetus of Rector General Fr. Jacob Nampudakam SAC. Its aim is to animate, promote, & further the mission of the peripheries - both global and existential - in the spirit of Pope Francis’ Encyclical, Evangelii Gaudium; “I am a mission on this earth; that is the reason why I am here in this world.”
Its guiding forces are St. Vincent’s Statutes written in 1835, embraced and exercised verbatim ac litteratim - word for word, letter for letter.
The possibility to employ all of its efforts ad gentes is by the boundless support of Provincial Fr. Peter Sticco SAC, and the Society of the Catholic Apostolate’s Immaculate Conception Province.
It’s globally directed by Julianne Calzonetti, who runs and creates its initiatives - as well as its communications - in service of the Pope and the Holy See.

To form the heart and spirit for the foreign missions
To establish and continue an extended correspondence with faraway places in order to know their particular spiritual needs, and make them known
To help the propagation of the faith in Rome
To write and translate books
Our Founder’s prophetic statutes of 1835 realized through the globalized advances of the 21st century.
To evaluate each mission after knowing the conditions, and then making known the most edifying results
To animate and create interest in order to promote and further the precious work of the missions
Whenever we will have established contacts with faraway places and begin to receive directly or indirectly the reports of the respective missions, the good done by them, and the different needs met, we shall publish monthly a printed leaflet or a magazine dedicated to the above matters. The reading of these, besides giving enjoyment, should also give spiritual benefit
The object is to provide freely to the missions, especially the foreign missions
