Tanzania

The Pallottine presence in Tanzania dates to the 1940s, when missionaries from the Irish Province began pastoral and developmental work in several rural and urban contexts. Today, Pallottine Fathers, Brothers, and Missionary Sisters operate in three dioceses, overseeing nine parishes and multiple centers dedicated to integral human development.

Their initiatives include formation houses, ecological education programs, income-generating projects, and longstanding pastoral care in both densely populated areas and remote regions. In January 2022, they became their own Region.
